Report: The Impact of the Economic Crisis on Hospital Behavior (January 2010)

The worst global financial crisis since World War II, followed by a general economic crisis, has resulted in the failure of many businesses, a decrease in consumer wealth, substantial financial commitment from governments and a significant decline in economic activity.

But what about the status of Health Care financing and expenses in Europe?

Health Care is largely financed by government mechanisms and social security services. Will Health Care providers be confronted with financial restrictions in 2010? Will purchasers, physicians and pharmacists adapt their attitude in dealing with smaller budgets? Will vendors and distributors alter their organization and commercial tactics? What will be the impact of low-cost vendors on the markets in 2010?

In order to support you to prepare and forecast your policy for next year, TforG launches its latest report:

“The impact of the economic crisis on budgeting and purchasing behavior of hospitals in 2010 (Euro Big 5)”

Hospital Pharmaceuticals (May 2008)

TforG has a long history of Consulting and Decision Support projects in the professional Health Care markets. So far its main focus has been medical technologies and devices. Because of strong presence and expertise in the hospital markets we have entered the segment of pharmaceuticals specifically offered in the hospital environment. Two consultants with a hospital Pharma background (Organon and J&J) have been added to the team and TforG will roll out a full “Hospital Pharma” program by the end of this year.

Brazil - Russia - India - China (May 2008)

Already in 2007 TforG made a firm commitment to the emerging markets. In 2008 we’ll take it to the next level. On June 1st TforG introduces a set of unique Databanks and Market profiles covering the national health care markets, characteristics and trends in purchase and decision processes as well as the socio-economic context of the BRIC countries. These products will be distributed by our partner MTI – Windhover ( part of the Reed-Elsevier group).
