(2007) Launch of Market Research Workshop

In October, more than 20 European Market Researchers attended the pilot ‘Market Research’ workshop. The objective of this event was to create a platform to discuss challenges and opportunities when conducting market research in Europe’s Medical Technology markets. Participants were very excited about the event and were in favour of a follow-up workshop in 2008.

(2007) We have new offices

The TforG group recently purchased and renovated a turn-of–the-century cooperative in the historical heart of the Antwerp Port. The 1400 square metre office space provides the state-of-the-art facilities which fit our growth ambitions for the coming years.

(2007) TforG Connect

Our direct data collection services, currently for all EMEA markets, are to be extended to Asian and Latin America countries. For these additional markets we cooperate with the local partners who best fit the job at hand. Right now we have activities and partners in China, India, the Philippines, Australia, Brazil and Singapore.

(2007) TforG Connect awarded consultation contract in Egypt

In August TforG Connect was awarded a consultation contract for the Egyptian Industry Modernisation Committee, a joint venture between the Egyptian government, the private sector and the EU, on development and export strategies for the local Medical Technology industry.

(2007) Emerging markets

Emerging Markets being one of the priorities of TforG, we have created a dedicated department, operated by Chinese and Indian specialists. They will be based in our headquarters in Antwerp to develop local networks and to coordinate a number of projects linked to the Indian and Chinese markets:

• The launch of healthcare databases for China and India in the first quarter of 2008
• A workshop about the market dynamics in the Chinese and Indian Med Tech markets
• Preparation of the TforG branch in China by the end of 2008
