TforG celebrates 15 years membership with ESOMAR, leader association in market research

ESOMAR – the WORLD Association for Social, Opinion and Market Research – is the  organization for encouraging, advancing and elevating market research worldwide. With more than 4,900 members from over 130 countries, ESOMAR’s aim is to promote the value of market and opinion research in illuminating real issues and bringing about effective decision-making. In 2016, TforG Group will enter its fiftheenth year as a member.

Through its membership, TforG Group has undersigned the ICC/ESOMAR Code on Market and Social Research which was developed jointly with the International Chamber of Commerce. The code sets out global guidelines for self-regulation for researchers and has been adopted or endorsed by more than 60 national market research associations worldwide. In addition, TforG applies the ESOMAR industry guidelines addressing the legal, ethical, and practical considerations in fast developing areas such as online, mobile and social media research.

Access to the respondents in all levels of the National Health Care systems and accuracy of the information acquired has always been top priority at TforG since its creation in 1991.
TforG feels we can make a difference if we can address the right profiles from operational clinicians to high ranking hospital administrators, payers and policy makers, ask the questions that matter and obtain detailed and effective answers, in all +40 countries we cover.

For the same reason we recently appointed Liliane Van Cauwenbergh as director of our Global Data Acquisition department. She has a robust track record in international service industries and will re-engineer our data aquisition methodologies and organization to face the new challenges in the current changing Health Care context.

Bart is the CEO and founder of TforG and works closely together with over 50 global companies such as Abbott, Baxter, GE, J&J, Medtronic, Philips, Stryker and Covidien. In this function, he spends a lot time with Key Opinion Leaders and Health Policy makers in Europe and in Emerging Markets. He graduated at the Polytechnic University of Leuven and has an MBA (University of Antwerp/N-Western Chicago).
