With 1000 interventions including historical figures and two year forecasts (2011-2018).
National codes are translated to the standardized ICD 9 international coding and verified by advisory boards.

Complementary filtered view of technique (MIS vs. Open) and setting available.
Technique: quantifies how much of the procedures performed are done with open surgery (Open) and how much are done with a non-invasive, with a minimally invasive surgery (MIS) or with a laparoscopic approach (MIS).

Setting: determines whether a patient is undergoing a certain procedure in the hospital or outside of the hospital (clinic, day center, at home, etc). Furthermore it quantifies how much of the patients undergoing a procedure in the hospital stay overnight (inpatient) vs. how much don’t (ambulatory).
